- Its hard to find a real farmers market here but there are perfect niche organic grocery stores to fill that gap.

- We are in the land of Wal-mart. The Targets here remind me of the tiny Targets 10 years ago in MN

- Green Tea formulated to be Iced Tea exists at grocery stores here and is delicious and caffeinated.

- People you meet here are very friendly, People in stores are rather rude.

- You get used to the 90 degree heat and find it nice and warming instead of hot and annoying.  

- Many apts here come with washer dryer hookups instead of the appliances themselves...
