Day Four had us continuing the drive down Texas, that's were we met Tropical Depression Hermine (downgraded from storm, but still quite strong). Heavy winds and blinding downpours were our obstacles. We ended up pulling off the road a couple times. The first pull off introduced us to this chocolate maker. I tried a sample of their chocolate covered/dipped potato crisp (pringle) and it was quite tasty. After that the rain died down so we continued our travels. When the rain picked up again it was a bit past 4pm and we were just past Fort Worth. We decided to pull off for a try of On The Border Mexican, since I loved their big bag of tortilla chips you could/can get at Sam's Club. I had a margarita, because hey we're kinda on vacation. =) I drank, we ate, and we waited while a tornado five or so miles away came and went. After that the rain came heavy on and off but we made it to our destination (Summer's Uncle's) safe and sound! We were able to unload most of the fully packed Jeep while the rain was on pause.
